Since Tex is in traction there is no point in hunting just yet. So we took a weekend and went to Aspen to see the fall colors and hit them near their peak. Beautiful stuff!
There is a new page on the Birdhunter blog titled “Photography Offered”. It is not live yet but I hope to have fine-art quality prints alone and custom solid hardwood framed prints offered for sale in the near future. Out of the 20,000 photos I have taken some think a handful would be of interest.
Wonderful country. Tough to shoot ruffed grouse in the aspen, but the beauty of the popple stands in the fall make it worth the walk in the woodlands.
Yes, thanks Jerry.
WoW…great photos!
Thanks Shawn! Looks like you guys had a terrific time in Idaho.
Great time in Idaho. Lots of birds. My setter Gretchen went lame after the first day though. Can’t wait for quail season here to open.
Beautiful pictures. Colorado is such a picturesque place. That 3rd picture down from the top reminds me of the scene from True Grit where Rooster Cogburn has the gunfight with Ned Pepper.
I call that bold talk for a one-eyed fat man! They don’t get any better than that. Thanks for visiting.
